Our downtown Phoenix venues have been home to countless concerts, comedy shows, special events and off-Broadway performances. At the Phoenix Convention Center you’ll find public shows like the annual International Arizona Auto Show, Phoenix Comicon and the 2015 NFL Experience Powered by GMC. Celebrate the arts with our Symphony Hall resident companies including Arizona Opera, Ballet Arizona and The Phoenix Symphony. Step back in time at the historic Orpheum Theatre, where you’ll find off-Broadway hits like “Rock of Ages” and “A Chorus Line” and mainstream shows by top performers like Lewis Black, Jackson Browne, Primus and the Post Super Bowl Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. BALLET ARIZONA-TODAY'S MASTERS: MARCH 26 - MARCH 29, 2015
Orpheum Theatre

A program of three contemporary ballets not to be missed! The whimsical Le Carnaval des Animaux (Carnival of the Animals) by Alexei Ratmansky, featuring a delightful menagerie of animals come to life. A thrilling new work from Ballet Arizona’s Artistic Director Ib Andersen, set to Ottorino Respighi’s tone poem, “Pines of Rome”. Resonance, a daring exploration from Ballet Arizona dancer Nayon Iovino, performed to “Echoes”, a composition from the legendary rock band Pink Floyd. The Great Gig in the Sky, the Southwest’s leading Pink Floyd tribute band, recorded the music exclusively for this performance. Tickets can be purchased here.

 

BOUT MAKER BOXING "FIGHT TO WIN": APRIL 11, 2015

Bout Maker Boxing Promotions is dedicated to bringing boxing fans exciting, well matched boxing events.  Bout Maker presents “FIGHT TO WIN”..an evening of professional boxing where all boxers are coming to WIN.  Come out to enjoy an evening filled with exciting, heart pounding boxing in the elegant surroundings of the Phoenix Convention Center. EDDIE IZZARD-FORCE MAJEURE: JUNE 2-3, 2015
Orpheum Theatre

He’s sold out Madison Square Garden and became the first stand-up comedian to play a solo show at the Hollywood Bowl. He takes ideas and situations and extrapolates them into bizarre tangential, absurd, and surreal comic narratives - topics that skip from Darth Vader and Greek mythology to human sacrifice and chaos theory. DIANA KRALL-WALLFLOWER TOUR: AUGUST 21, 2015

Krall sings a set of songs that include familiar popular classics like The Mamas and the Papas’ “California Dreaming” and the Eagles’ “Desperado,” favorite vintage songs by Krall’s musical heroes Bob Dylan (he inspired the album’s title track “Wallflower”) and Elton John (“Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word”).
